Mission, Vision and Values

Our Mission

The Sacramento Stingrays Swim team (SSST) focuses on building a swim team that helps each athlete realize their full potential as an individual, a swimmer and a leader in our community.

Vision

To create an inclusive, safe and supportive environment where swimming is fun and upholds our team values.   Every Stingray family fulfills their volunteer commitment to achieve our team’s success.

Team Values

Decisions are made in accordance with our values.

Teamwork:  A strong commitment to the Stingrays demonstrated through hard work, dedication and participation in team events.

Sportsmanship:  Stingrays compete fairly with a will to win and respect for our opponents.

Spirit:  The feeling of pride and loyalty in your achievements and those of the Stingrays.

Integrity:  Create a positive and inclusive culture that fosters open, honest and meaningful relationships.    Stingrays do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Accountability:  Each Stingray family fulfills their volunteer requirement and is responsible for their words, their actions and their results.
