Our next meet will take place next Saturday, June 14 at the Pat Granucci Aquatics Center! This is our first away meet of the season and we are so excited to visit this team! We will be sending out more details for this meet as soon  as we receive them later in the week.

 

ALL of our regular season meets are open for declaration so go ahead and declare for all of them now!

Meet recap from the Stingrays President

We made it through our first dual meet of the season! Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered, either signing up ahead of time for your chosen job or stepping in to cover jobs that had not been filled. It takes a Stingrays village and we appreciate you so much! Thank you also for your patience as we worked through a slight morning delay due to our storage unit not being accessible. We made up that time during the meet and were even able to finish a little early!

 

There was so much Stingrays spirit throughout our meet, and we love to see it! We saw Stingrays making sure to shake hands with other swimmers before hopping out, lots of cheering for our teammates, and tons of good sportsmanship. I personally watched Stingrays just barely get out touched by a Polar Bear- or vice versa- and immediately turn to their competitors with a smile on their face to congratulate them. This is the kind of spirit that we love to see and it makes us so proud to be known as one of the friendliest teams in the league.

 

We are looking forward to visiting our first team this season next weekend at the Dixon Dolphins! Great job this weekend, Stingrays!

STINGRAYS PHOTO DAY!

•Please arrive between 5:15-5:30 to get settled, start on individual photos, and get lined up for the group photo.

•Plan to be there a while! We have a lot of kiddos to get through! We suggest bringing a snack!

•Parents will be asked to drop their swimmers at the south entrance and then head back around to the north entrance to wait. We suggest bringing a chair!

•Photo day can feel incredibly chaotic with over 200 kids. Please plan on digging in for your extra patience! The coaches and board members will help navigate the kids through the event.

•Please arrive photo ready in your team suit (if you have one).

•A 5x7 individual photo and a team photo are included with your team registration, and there are lots of upgrades available for purchase if you’d like.

•IF YOU ARE IN BLACK OR BLUE GROUP, you should plan to practice after photos!

•Pups are welcome and encouraged to attend picture day!!

DINNER NIGHT OUT WEDNESDAY!

It’s time again for our monthly Dinner Night Out Fundraiser! This time, we are asking you to head to Mendocino Farms in the Raley’s shopping center on Freeport Blvd on Wednesday, June 11. Take the night off from the kitchen and support the Stingrays!

Join us at the Rivercats on June 26!

It’s time for the annual Swim Night at the Rivercats! There will be NO PRACTICE so that everyone can join us at the game! Purchase your tickets below as soon as possible and reply to this email if you receive a message that tickets are not available. Note: The tickets are unlimited, but we do need to have them manually added to our fundraising account, so the earlier we know that we’ve run out, the better!

 

These tickets are GRASS SEATS so bring a blanket or some chairs and spend the evening with us!

 

Invite your friends and family too, the Stingrays receive a small kickback for every ticket purchased through our link!
