PRE-MEET EMAIL

We are so excited to see everyone this weekend, Stingrays! Here are some last minute reminders!

 

LOCATION: Hoos Pool (Sac City College)

CHECK IN TIME: 6:45-7:00 at the Team Tent area. Swimmers will check in separately from volunteers!

 

 

Remember, we will have a second team with us which means half the set up space that we had at Stings v Rays, so you may want to share a tent with a friend! Stingrays will set up on the grass strip on the south side of the walkway. Don’t forget that we must stay camped on the grass.

You should plan to hang out in the team area when you aren’t volunteering or watching your swimmers.

 

Swimmers and volunteers will enter and exit the pool on the SOUTH SIDE, not the north side by the parking lot. The north door will be open for ventilation, but off-limits.

 

Please listen for and allow the team parents to collect your child and take them to the ready bench area!

 

WARM UP INFO: We are flipping our warm up schedule and will start with the younger swimmers first. IF YOU ARE IN GLITTER GROUP OR ARE A 6U, you will NOT warm up tomorrow.

 

VOLUNTEERING: Don’t forget to sign up for your volunteer job!! We have quite a few slots that are still open and need to have them all filled. Sign up in your account where you declared your swimmer!

 

We will have two Sac City College employees present. One is Dave, who was with us last year at meets, and the other is the facilities director. PLEASE follow any rules that they ask you to follow and be courteous! The goal is to stay at SCC for the foreseeable future, so let’s show them how great we are. :)

 

We will have two security officers present. They are there to keep everyone safe so please listen to any direction they give.

FUN STUFF

We will have our full snack bar available! Tap or card is preferred but we also accept cash.

 

Swimmers may stay on the deck (on the bleacher side) to cheer on friends!

 

If you’d like to stay and cheer on our oldest swimmers, you can also participate in the team jump at the end of the meet! This is always really fun for the kids and makes for great photos.

 

Visit the Team Tent! This weekend at the Team Tent you can:

-Purchase Stingrays gear

-Pick up your custom towel if you ordered one

-Declare for next week’s meet

-Ask questions! Our Team Tent is manned by our Stingrays VP and our Volunteer Coordinator, and is the perfect place to get whatever information you need!
